Requirements: For guitarists who can play open and bar chords comfortably, and also scales. Students will require their own guitar and metronome. This class will take an in-depth look at improvising, soloing, chord progressions and music theory. Students will learn several different techniques for developing accuracy and speed for playing scales, chord progressions, and arpeggios while playing a variety of musical styles with a sophisticated rhythm and chord knowledge. Students will also improve their understanding of the fret board, while instilling confidence and consistency into the development guitarist.
