Celebrate the 19th Anniversary of the “Run For The Roses” on Saturday, May 15, 2010. We will have a clown for entertaining the youngsters, a moonwalk for all to enjoy, and a DJ for music throughout the event. The start/finish line for this great 5K event is in the 900 Block of Forest Road, in front of the school. Food and drink will be provided to all participants. Tee shirts provided to the first 450 registered participants. Race forms will be available at the end of February. Last year’s participants will receive the form directly by mail. Packets will be available at the Recreation Center, LaGrange Park, 1501 Barnsdale Road on Friday May 14, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. On race day, packets will be available at the start/finish line at Forest Road School. All proceeds benefit the Park District’s scholarship fund.
