Random Draw Resident Registration
Random Draw Resident Registration is how we register participants on the first day of registration. Residents must drop off their completed registration form before 5:00 PM on the Thursday before registration takes place. The following Friday at 8:00 AM, all registration forms will go into a box and will be selected at random to register participants. This gives everybody who has signed up an equal chance at getting into all of our programs. For the next week after the random draw, residents will have the opportunity to continue to sign up before registration is open to everyone. This event takes place three times a year, with each of our brochures.
**Please note that Random Draw will be the only time that confirmations will be sent in the mail. Confirmations may also include brochure mistakes that have been corrected, whether or not you have been wait-listed for a program, any discrepancies in the amount paid, and form of payment.
Registration After Resident Random Draw
1. Come in person and register with the office staff. You will know right away if the class that you have signed up for is available and will be able to ask any specific questions at that time. We accept cash, check, and Visa/Mastercard. We are working towards adding Discover cards in the future.
2. Mail in your registration form. You can mail in your registration form to the Recreation Center, 1501 Barnsdale Rd., LaGrange Park, IL 60526. We will process your registration form upon arrival and the ONLY time that you will receive a phone call is if there happens to be a conflict with your program, ie. the class was full and you are on the waiting list, we had to change a date...etc. If you don't hear from us, consider yourself in the class and make sure to mark down the first day.
3. Fax in your registration form. When you choose this option, make sure to include a clearly written credit card number and expiration date on the form.
4. Drop-box registration. We have a drop-box that is located just outside of our office doors. In the event that you can't make it in during normal office hours, we have provided a silver mailbox which works as our drop-box. Put your registration form in the box with a form of payment, and the next morning, our staff will process your form. Again, we will only contact you if there is a conflict with your program choice.
